报告摘要：We study the two-dimensional acoustical rarefaction waves under the irrotational assumptions. We provide a new energy estimates without loss of derivatives. We also give a detailed geometric description of the rarefaction wave fronts. As an application, we show that the Riemann problem is structurally stable in the regime of two families of rarefaction waves. This is a joint work with Prof. Pin Yu in Tsinghua Univerisity.

报告人简介：罗天文，华南师范大学教授，博士生导师。主要从事流体非线性偏微分方程的数学理论研究，包括双曲守恒律、高维可压缩流体动力学的数学理论，在高维守恒律领域作出突破性贡献，解决了Majda提出的高维稀疏波的公开问题，相关研究成果发表于Annals of Mathematics、Advance in Mathematics、Sci. China Math等国际顶尖期刊。2025年获得国家自然科学基金青年科学基金A类（原国家杰出青年基金）。

报告摘要：In this talk, we will introduce the stability and transition threshold problem for plane Poiseuille flow in a finite channel. Based on the resolvent estimates and space-time estimates, the nonlinear stability for 2-D plane Poiseuille flow is established. This talk is based on the joint works with Prof. Shijin Ding.
