内容摘要:The finite volume element method (FVEM, also known as the generalized finite difference method) is one of the main discretizations for PDEs. The FVEM is associated with primary and dual meshes, which are coupled different meshes. Currently, the L2 order of FVEM strongly depends on the choice of duality. This talk will provide a review of the construction and L2 results for FVEM.
报告人简介:王翔,吉林大学数学学院副教授,博士生导师。2016年获得吉林大学理学博士学位。主要从事偏微分方程有限体积法和相场模型数值算法等方面的研究,研究工作涉及有限体积法的格式构造、误差分析和超收敛,以及相场模型时间高精度算法等方面,相关结果发表于《SIAM J. Numer. Anal.》《Math. Comput.》《J. Comput. Phy.》《Sci. China Math.》《Adv. Comput. Math.》等杂志。
