内容摘要:In this talk, we formulate a multi-group SIR epidemic model with the consideration of proportionate mixing patterns between groups and group-specific fractional-dose vaccination to evaluate the effects of fractionated dosing strategies on disease control and prevention in a heterogeneously mixing population. The basic reproduction number R0, the final size of the epidemic, and the infection attack rate are used as three measures of population-level implications of fractionated dosing programs.

报告人简介:刘秀湘，华南师范大学教授、博士生导师，2005年毕业于华南理工大学，获博士学位；2007年10月至2009年9月在湖南大学数学博士后流动站做博士后；2009年10月至2010年3月在加拿大Memorial University of Newfoundland数学系访问学者；2000年7月起在华南师范大学数学系任教。在国内外重要学术期刊发表多篇学术论文。现为华南师范大学数学科学学院教授，党委书记，广东省“千百十人才工程”第五批校级培养对象，美国Mathematical Reviews评论员，《中学数学研究》编委，广东省数学会副秘书长。
